† PIVOT YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY – Every Tuesday at 6PM at the Taggarts. If you are a young adult (18-24), please join us for Bible study, game nights, and serve nights each month. Invite your friends to come too. Email pivot@lbac.org for any questions.
† ANNUAL VISION MEETING – TODAY at 5PM. It’s that time of year again. The time we all look forward to- The Annual Vision Meeting! Childcare will be provided (birth-5th grade). We will begin the evening at 5PM with a potluck and the meeting will begin at 6PM. † WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY – October 14, 21, 28, 7PM-9PM. Ladies (high school and up) we are excited to be able to gather once again for a Women’s Bible Study: “3 Women of the Bible- Real Women, Real Struggles, Real Faith,” Thursdays, October 14, 21, and 28. † CRAFTY WOMEN – Saturday, October 16, 10AM-4PM. All you crafty ladies, it’s time to get together for another Saturday of crafting fun. Contact Donna Neel for more information.
† NEW FOUNDATIONS CLASS – Starting October 17, 11:15AM, Rm 203. Luke Schaub will be leading this class on “The Rise of the Modern Church- Church History Since 1600AD.” In this six-part series, we will explore how the church adapted and thrived through tremendous change in the four centuries after the Protestant reformation. This interesting period saw wars, witches, inquisitions, revolutions, revivals, slavery, Darwinism, social gospel, the rise and fall of denominations and the spread of Christianity across the globe.
† PRAYER/MEALS FOR THE BONSTEEL FAMILY – Bonsteels need all the help they can get! Please keep Nathan and the rest of the family in your prayers. See the Prayer Request that came out this week with some details and the meal train link or you can contact office@lbac.org to have it sent to you.
† SOCIAL HOUR – Join us in the Courtyard after the service today for some good old fashioned connect time (coffee and donuts will be there too).
† GIVING AT LBAC. Remember there are 4 ways to give: Online, PayPal, Text, Mail/Dropoff. Please be advised if you are writing a check to us put LBAC or Long Beach Alliance Church in the “pay to the order of line.” The bank is getting more automated and said checks written with something else on that line might be rejected. Silly technology.
